  It’s Monday night, and I’m sitting in front of my screen with a sudden realization: I still haven’t written Wednesday’s blog. For the first time since I started this journey, I didn’t have a single clue what to write about.   As I type this, the wife and I are watching Britain’s Got Talent on catch-up. It’s a Bank Holiday Monday here in the UK, and unusually for us, it is absolutely scorching—we’re talking over 30°C hot. Normally, when a British bank holiday rolls around, it pours with rain. With the amount of sweat dripping off me right now, I almost wish it was! ​But sitting here in the heat, looking at my bookshelf, a fundamental question popped into my head: What should an adventure book actually be?
